Karoly Takacs it's not just name it's an inspiration for all the youth of today's generation. He is a national hero in Hungary and over there everybody knows about him and his incredible story. Karoly Takacs of the Hungarian Army was the top pistol Shooter of the world. He was expected to win the gold medal in the Olympic games schedule in Tokyo in the year 1940. Those Expectations vanish after one terrible day just months before the Olympics. While with his Army squad, a hand grenade exploded in Takacs right hand Takacs shooting hand was blown off. He was depressed after that accident in which he lost his hand and the dream of winning Olympic game. After entering a situation like this no one would have the courage to defeat the situation, one word silently accept the truth and leave his dreams for the rest of his life just staying depressed. Many peoples may quit but not all, because peoples whose dreams are their life. They will try to achieve their dreams with every single hope till they are alive. As it has been well said by someone "Loosers makes excuses not winners" winners always have a single circumstance that they have to do. The winners understand that life is hard believes that they can't let life beat them down. Winners ar And then it happened something very unexpected which was unthinkable he gets up to grab the moment. He decided that he will not leave the moment like this he will play. He simply ask himself why not instead of focusing on what he didn't have how well class right shooting hand he decided to focus what he did have incredible mental toughness and healthy left hand that with time would we develop to shoot like a champion. Takacs spent tenth months on practicing by himself no one was known about what he was doing maybe he didn't wanted to inform anyone because they may be reason to cook and discourage him from his rekindle dream. In the spring of 1939 he show up at the Hungarian National pistol shooting Championship. Other shooters approached Takacs to give him the condolences and to congratulate him on having the strength to come watch them shoot. They were surprised when he said I didn't come to watch I come to compete they were even more surprise Takacs won! The 1940 and 1944 Olympics were cancelled because of World War II. It look like that Takacs Olympic dream would never have a chance to realise itself. But Takacs kept training and 1948 he qualified for the London Olympics.At at the age of 38 Takacs won the gold medal and set a new world record in pistol shooting 4 years later Takacs won the gold medal again at the at the 1952 Helsinki Olympics Takacs-a man with the mental toughness to bounce back from anything. He proved that Winners are always dedicated towards their dreams. The special fact about winners is that they never quit and always try to achieve their dreams. After his shooting career Takacs become a coach.He trained Hungarian Szilard kind, who won the Silver Medal at the 1952 Summer Olympics.Takacs ended his Army career as lieutenant Colonel.
